Celebrating Black History Month
Society Hill Playhouse is proud to present
the world premiere production of Walt Vail's new work
In this fascinating look at a pivotal moment in sports history Branch Rickey, general manager and part owner of the 1950 Brooklyn Dodgers, addresses a group of people in the Ebbets field conference room and relates the story of how baseball’s major league color barrier was broken with the hiring of Jackie Robinson in 1947.

The show will run weekends from February 3rd to the 26th. Fridays at 7pm, Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 3pm. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased by calling 215-923-0210.
All proceeds will benefit the Shane Victorino Foundation.
